THE ENGLISH PROJECT: 50 BOOKS TO READ (BEFORE YOU DIE)

Laats kreeg ik een heel leuk cadeautje: Een boekenlegger met 50 books before you die. Vijftig boeken die je moet lezen dus. Maar de "before you die" vind ik nogal heftig. Alsof je de lijst maar heel snel moet lezen voor het te laat is. Niet echt een leuk idee, toch? Daarom noem ik het liever een lijst met boeken die je gewoon MOET lezen of de lijst met de 50 mooiste boeken of gewoon DE klassiekers. Dat je ze moet lezen voordat je dood gaat is wel logisch zonder er de nadruk op leggen, niet?

Laat dit nou net DE mogelijkheid zijn om verder te gaan met mijn Project English. Want stel nou dat ik heel de lijst ga lezen en stel nou dat ik ze allemaal in het engels ga lezen. Dan MOET het wel goed zijn voor mijn engels. Welke boeken op de lijst staan?..

Natuurlijk heb ik er enkele gelezen zoals Harry Potter, Alice in Wonderland ( waarschijnlijk niet zelf, maar voorgelezen door mijn moeder) en Lord of the Rings. Wat betekend dat ik 47 of zelfs nog 48 boeken heb te gaan. Maar we hebben de tijd!
